Our position

Gridiron Betting Labs is an analytics product for adults who choose to bet on football. We want you betting less, not more: fewer bets, at better numbers, with sensible stakes. The product itself is built around that idea — it recommends flat or fractional staking, sizes every suggested stake to a budget you set, and grades its own picks honestly against the closing line. No pick, from us or anyone else, is ever a sure thing.

21 and over, always

Our service is strictly for people 21 or older. If you are under 21, please do not use Gridiron Betting Labs or any betting product.

Ground rules for healthy betting

  • Bet only what you can afford to lose. Set a bankroll that is genuinely disposable — never rent, bills, savings, or borrowed money.
  • Use flat or fractional staking. Risk a small, consistent percentage of your bankroll on each bet (many disciplined bettors use 1–2%). This is the staking approach our product recommends and models.
  • Never chase losses. Increasing stakes to "win it back" is the fastest route to serious trouble. A losing week is normal; chasing turns it into a losing season.
  • Set limits before you start. Most legal sportsbooks let you set deposit, wager, and time limits in your account settings. Set them while you are calm, and respect them later.
  • Treat betting as entertainment, not income. Even skilled bettors face long losing stretches. If you are counting on winnings for anything that matters, stop.
  • Take breaks. Betting every game, every day, is a warning sign in itself. It is fine — healthy, even — to sit weeks out.

Warning signs

Consider reaching out for help if any of these sound familiar:

  • Betting more money, or more often, than you intended
  • Hiding your betting from family or friends
  • Borrowing money to bet, or betting money needed for essentials
  • Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut back
  • Chasing losses, or betting to escape stress, anxiety, or low mood
  • Neglecting work, school, or relationships because of betting

Self-exclusion

If you want to stop, self-exclusion works and we genuinely encourage it. Every legal U.S. sportsbook offers self-exclusion tools in its responsible-gaming settings, and most states run their own voluntary self-exclusion programs that cover all licensed operators at once. If you self-exclude, we also encourage you to close your Gridiron Betting Labs account — email support@gridironbettinglabs.com and we will close it, no questions asked.
