Terms of Service
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services operated under the name Gridiron Betting Labs (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is — and what it is not
The Service provides statistical models, matchup analysis, odds comparisons, and related information about NFL football games. It is an information and analytics product only. Specifically:
- The Service is not betting advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to place any wager.
- The Service makes no guarantee of any outcome. Sports are unpredictable; models are estimates; past performance does not indicate future results. You can and may lose money betting on sports.
- The Service is not a sportsbook. We do not accept, place, broker, or facilitate wagers, and we never hold or handle your betting funds. Any link to a third-party sportsbook takes you to a business we do not control and are not responsible for.
- References to the NFL, its teams, and its players are for identification and informational purposes only. Gridiron Betting Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any of its member clubs.
3. Eligibility — 21 and over only
You must be at least 21 years of age to create an account or use the Service, regardless of the legal betting age in your jurisdiction. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you are 21 or older. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe belong to anyone under 21.
4. Your responsibility for legality
Sports betting is illegal or restricted in many places. You are solely responsible for determining whether accessing the Service and placing wagers with any sportsbook is lawful where you are located, and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and sportsbook terms. The availability of the Service in your location is not a representation that sports betting is legal there.
5. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you: one account per person, and you may not share, resell, or redistribute your access, the picks, or any other content from the Service. Notify us at support@gridironbettinglabs.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
- Free tier. Free accounts receive limited content (currently the Game of the Week) at no charge. We may change what is included in the free tier at any time.
- Paid plans. Paid access is offered as a monthly subscription or as season-length passes. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future billing periods or seasons; we will not change the price of a season pass you have already purchased for that season.
- Monthly cancellation. Monthly subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for.
- Season passes. Season passes are one-time purchases covering the current NFL season (through the Super Bowl) and do not auto-renew into the next season.
- No refunds. Except where required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable, including for partially used periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@gridironbettinglabs.com.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content from the Service; reverse engineer or probe the Service; circumvent access controls or paywalls; use the Service to build a competing product; or use the Service in connection with any unlawful activity, including unlawful gambling.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its models, analysis, text, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes while your account is in good standing. Team names and league names referenced in the Service are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used nominatively only.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ODDS, LINES, INJURY REPORTS, WEATHER DATA, OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY GAMBLING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by emailing support@gridironbettinglabs.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, and 12) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
